ORESANYA
YEMI ORESANYA is driven by an innate passion to marry excellence to the built structure. An OND graduate of YABATECH, bachelor’s degree holder in Building Technology from OAU and PGD Project Management from UNILAG. His quest for excellence across the gamut of the building and construction trades, especially plumbing, led him to South Africa to be trained in the modern maintenance-driven technology of plumbing. A member of the World Plumbing Council who, aside from his broad building and construction experiences as a builder lasting more than a decade, proudly introduces himself as a “Plumber”.
He, in conjunction with two expatriates in South Africa and Dubai (one complementing him in plumbing skills’ impartation to his class and the second teaching the class in basic steel fixing and scaffolding as they relate to modern plumbing respectively), will mentor the plumbing department.
He is also the technical coordinator of a revolutionary CLAY or LATERITE building technology that we intend to aggressively introduce to our local housing market for mass/affordable housing purpose. This is because (as it has been well researched by the Nigeria Building and Road Research Institute-NBRRI) the technology uses our commonly available native, historic, cost-effective, natural insulating cum energy-saving, bullet-and-fire-resistant and aesthetically uplifting compressed Interlocking clay/ laterite bricks. All candidates of the training institute MUST put the skills they are acquiring to practical industrial use in the massive housing projects to be rolled out with this building technology.
