Learning Expectations
- How to establish needed plumbing related details from available or physically examinable topographic survey.
- How to read and understand approved mechanical drawings, and therefrom correctly define plumbing tasks which MUST be done at the SETTING OUT stage.
- How to implement INSTALLATIONS of PIPES, DRAINAGE SYSTEMS and FIXTURES for SUPPLY/WASTE WATER, AIR, GAS and other LIQUIDS within the structure/s.
- How to make basic SCAFFOLDING that is relevant for COMMON plumbing works.
- How to test/diagnose plumbing system/s for LEAKAGES or EFFICIENCY.
- How to TROUBLESHOOT plumbing defects and FIX fixtures (like toilets, sinks, bathtubs, showers, heaters, boilers, etc).
PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Basic literacy in and use of English language.

- Heavy duty wrench 12″

- Set of 6 screw drivers
- Hammer
- 5m measuring tape (preferably a better PRECISION version from BOSCH)
- Aluminium spirit level (preferably a better PRECISION version from BOSCH)
- Hand trowel pointing
- Multi gas torch
- Pipe brush
- Putty knife
